About Me:
I entered the counseling field to help people. But really, it was and is so much more than that because I certainly could have helped people in any number of other careers. What I desire most is to be with people in their pain and suffering… to hold space for the scariest and ugliest feelings… to help people find their way through the dark feelings that isolate us so well. My goal is to help you better know yourself and grow into your potential and healing so you are better able to engage in relationships and begin living a more intentional and healthier life.
I am passionate about working with people who have experienced some kind of trauma, childhood abuse, domestic abuse, and have issues with self-worth or self-esteem. I enjoy helping these clients better understand what’s happening to them and what they can do about it so they can change the direction of their lives, and start feeling better and more in control of their trauma.
I also really enjoy working with anxiety issues, including stress, panic attacks, phobias, addictions, and chronic worry. There are often deeper root issues, but working with anxiety is so rewarding because of how much progress can be made in a short period of time!
Lastly, I enjoy working with individuals with relationship issues. These can involve problems with boundaries and codependency, and are often connected with feelings of anxiety and depression. I love helping people untangle the strings of relationships so they can care for themselves better and have deeper connections with people they care about.
If you’re someone who struggles with any of these issues, you know you can get through them but you need some help or guidance, and you’re ready to do the work, you came to the right place! Get in touch with me by calling or texting me, email me, or just schedule an appointment now – I would love to get connected and start working with you.
